Formed behind the walls of Intramuros, Kaustik Route are a hip-hop trio from Manila and is a hip-hop side project of Sky Garden. Kaustik Route are rappers Cease Man & Uncle Snare and producer D’Dood. For a while, they’ve been releasing one of the most sublime singles and mixtapes online. Cease Man’s train of thought passes by Uncle Snare’s double timed lyricism. Making their styles blend perfectly to D’Dood’s boom bap production and trippy use harmonicas and melodicas.
Seeing them live is one thing. They actually use melodicas in between sets. Transitioning from a very psychedelic feeling to a soulful performance. Cease Man, Uncle Snare, and D’Dood are a trio to watch out for.
